The new Verito is a much better looking sedan and has moved away from its original boxy design. It gets a new a new bumper and grille up front, along with Roof Rails and Blackened Pillars giving it a more aggressive and sophisticated stance. The headlamps have a dash of chrome and what look like LED parking lamps.The rear too is fresh and comes with designed tail lamps, a new boot lid with the number plate mounted on it (instead of on the bumper) and a new bumper with built-in reflectors. The dashboard too has been revamped with a beige theme and redesigned center console. The power-window switches have moved from the dashboard and floor to the door pads. It also gets a single airbags, ABS, EBD a driver information system, a 2-DIN music system with CD, mp3, USB and aux-in and electric ORVM controls.The heart of the Verito though remains the same 1.5-litre DCi engine from Nissan which is found on everything from the Micra to the Sunny and Duster. In the Verito, this motor makes 65 bhp of power and 160 Nm of torque. It has a claimed mileage of 21.03 kmpl (Diesel) mileage as per ARAI.
