Built by the talented team at JvB-Moto, they used a Ducati Monster 1000ie as the base platform but as with most JvB-Moto creations, not much of the original bike is left. They added a custom fuel tank, seat, rear grab rail, headlight, handlebars, Akrapovic exhaust and a number of other more subtle additions.
Ducati`s aircooled motor with its unique character and its great sound is the perfect engine for this concept. It gives the scrambler a great power to weight ratio . 170kg wet with 12 litres fuel / 95 Desmo-bhp To centralize the weight and to optimize the riding position, the battery was mounted under the seat. This allowed the fuel tank to become much shorter and more slim. The tank, as well as all the other plastic parts, were especially designed and manufactured fromreinforced carbon- and carbon/kevlar - fibre.Every unnecessary weight was removed from the bike and the ergonomics were adjusted. The result is this absolutely minimalistic design, 170kg with fuel and a handling, which is easier than on any standard Ducati
