Following the debut of its blue tribute to legendary Le Mans champion Jean-Pierre Wimille, Bugatti has unveiled the second installment of its celebratory six-part “Bugatti Legends” series: a blacked-out nod to Jean Bugatti, the oldest son of founder Ettore Bugatti. Inspired by Jean’s personal Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic – an automobile of his own design and one of the rarest/most expensive/most sought-after in the world – the special edition Bugatti Legends Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse mimics the look of his La Voiture Noire (“The Black Car”) and comes entirely finished in black carbon fiber with a brown-on-beige two-tone cabin and rosewood shifter. Further accentuating the look of the understated-yet-luxurious exterior is a platinum grille, matching EB badges and diamond-cut five-spoke wheels. Unveiled at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, the Jean Bugatti Veyron will be limited to just three production models – each priced at around $3 million USD.
